Snap Japan Map Puzzle (development name: SnapJapanMap) is provided by Manabi Mate LLC as a paid, advertising-free educational puzzle.
Data handled by the app
The app does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. Puzzle records, optional nicknames, and settings are stored on the device. A user may choose to export this information to a file and import it on another device. The destination and handling of an exported file are controlled by the user and the selected operating-system service.
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, social feed, location access, camera access, microphone access, contact access, or photo-library access. Apple or Google may provide operating-system backup and store services under their own privacy terms.
Children and families
The app is designed for families and learners. It does not request a real name, email address, account, precise location, or other contact information from children. A nickname is optional and remains on the device unless the user exports it.
Map data
Administrative area data from National Land Numerical Information (N03-2025), MLIT, was processed and simplified to create the learning puzzle map. The map is not intended for navigation or surveying.
