FoldShape Quest Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to FoldShape Quest (Japanese name: 折って立体クエスト; the “App”), a puzzle app for folding flat nets into 3D solids, provided by Manabi Mate LLC (“we”). It covers the iOS version on the App Store and the Android version on Google Play (package name com.mnbmate.balanceplay).

1. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data through the App. The App has no account, does not connect to our servers or any other server, and contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, advertising identifier, or third-party tracking. We do not sell or share data with third parties.

2. Data stored on your device

Your progress (solved puzzles, stars, experience points, streak, attempt history), saved folds, and settings (language, sound, reduced motion) are stored only in the App’s storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the App deletes this data.

3. Manual export and import

The Android version can export your progress as a JSON, CSV, or ZIP file and import a JSON or ZIP backup. You choose the file and the location with the system file picker; the App never uploads files by itself. If you choose a cloud storage service, that service handles the file under its own privacy policy. Before an import, the App keeps a recovery copy of your previous progress on your device. The iOS version can show your progress as JSON text. Neither version has automatic backup or synchronization (no iCloud or Google Drive backup).

4. External pages

Links in the Android version (store page, this policy, support page) open in your browser or store app. The privacy policies of those services apply there.

5. Children

The App is designed for learners from primary school age and up, together with parents and teachers. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It has no chat, public profiles, leaderboards, social sharing, advertising, or in-app purchases.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, the law, or store requirements change. The date above shows the latest update.
